Ashley Childs: "My brother has a knife and he's trying to stab my mother with it." . . . 911: "Does he do this often?" Childs: "No . . . (unintelligible)" 911: "OK, that's fine. I don't need the story. What's his weight?" . . . Childs: "Yeah, light, light blue jeans. Now, he's coming after me . . . and my mom's telling him to put the knife down, but he won't." . . . Childs: "He's putting his shoes on and he has the knife in his right hand and putting his shoes on with the other." 911: "What's he putting his shoes on for?" . . . Childs: "Because he's trying to run away and you know . . . (unintelligible) and my mom locks him in the house so he can't run away because he usually . . . (unintelligible)" 911: "So, he can't get out." Childs: "Yeah, he can't get out and that's why he has a knife in his hand because he wants to leave and my mom's not letting him leave." . . . 911: "Has he done this before?" Childs: "No, he's hit my mom before, but never pulled out a knife, but he runs off all the time." Childs: "He's in the living room and he's coming towards my mom with the knife right now. 911: "He's never tried to stab her before?" Childs: "Never, this is the first time." . . . Officer heard over line: "Everyone get out of the house. Go out the back door!" (Dog heard barking) Childs: "OK, the officer's telling me to get off the phone." 911: "OK, go!" . . .
